Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible for managing new ammunition facility launch including tracking, analyzing and improving lean processes and activities focused around building a culture of continuous improvement aligned with achieving strategic objectives for the corporation.
Essential Functions:
1. Provided leadership and direction to entire facility.
2. Responsible for facilities long term projects, future equipment, facility budget, production schedules, staffing, employee training, and resources.
3. Manage facility projects from start to finish, as well as utilities planning, forecasting and management for the entire facility.
4. Oversee layout of new launch facility including the layout of offices and machinery as well as installation.
5. Coordinate with engineering group as needed for layout and installation as well.
6. Responsible for the planning and implementation of new processes and products for facility launch.
7. Recognize and analyze departmental trends and opportunities to provide direction and resources as required.
8. Prepare and maintain adequate records, facility drawings, and documents to support ongoing maintenance efforts and ISO certification for multiple plants.
9. Investigated, proposed, and designed new technologies to meet customer demands.
10. Helped establish lean and problem:solving techniques for hourly and staff associates.
11. Implement problem solving processes for team building and equipment.
12. Mentor leadership team on execution of operational metrics and procedures.
13. Coordinate activities to increase safety awareness and implement improvements

Requirements (Education, Experience):
:High School Diploma or GED required
:Bachelors degree in technical field or equivalent experience
:Seven years experience in production or process operations and 2 yrs. leading and directing staffCompany Description
