Regional Administrative Assistant

As an Regional Administrative Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist and support the Regional Vice President of?Sales and Operations in all administrative duties, and other tasks as assigned.

Your contributions may include:
Create and submit Terminal Operations AFEs, issue purchase orders and process/scan regional invoices
Review, enter, and submit change and/or regional personnel payroll advices per standard operating procedure (SOP)
Initiate and submit Step increases
Maintain Merit worksheet, create and submit merit increase forms (with payroll advices if monthly increase)
Enter password, user ID, and email requests for all field employees
Schedule Operational, Sales, and Clerical employees for workshops at the General Office (GO)
Enter Sales allocation
Submit all AMEX applications for field employees
Assist RVPs with Management Trainee recruiting administrative procedures
Audit Season Tickets usage
Prepare and compile information for annual employee reviews
Compile daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as assigned by RVP or GO
Create and assist with Regional PowerPoint presentations
Assist Branch Managers, answer questions, and help with SOPs and regional reports (revised)
Work with terminal to rescue distressed shipments, determine root cause and reason for rescue, fill out shipment
RVP Rescue report for RVP, and in the case of an absent RVP, authority to proceed with the request
Disseminate information to terminals and/or other regional offices regarding monitored accounts
Communicate with Regional peers, on field procedures, changes to SOPs, new systems, and pilot projects
Liaison with various GO departments for handling varied departmental tasks
Arrange travel/hotel room set up for Regional and GO field meetings, RVP terminal and GO visits, assist Regional Training Specialist with meetings, and set up and attend Regional Quality Council meeting

Ready to apply? Before doing so, please make sure you meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree, preferred
LTL industry experience, preferred
Understand, and ability to complete, all regional administrative tasks
Must be detail oriented and enjoy a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment
Must have excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills
